About the Role:
Corporate Commercial Services LLC is looking for a dependable and hardworking Day Porter to join our team in the Savannah area! This is a great opportunity to be part of a professional commercial cleaning team that takes pride in keeping facilities spotless and welcoming. **You will be working at a new and modern strip mall in a nice area of town. There will be more opportunity for cleaning units to make extra money**
**Current or previous porter or handyman experience required**
Responsibilities:
- Availability to work Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 2-4 hours
- Power blow all curbs, sidewalks, building corners, building recesses, in and around parking blocks and dumpster enclosures
- Pick up and dispose of all trash and leaves on the property including sidewalks, entrance/exits, all green areas (grass, landscaping beds, in and around ponds), rear of the buildings and parking areas. (Daily)
- Remove all cobwebs from the under canopy of the storefronts, window frames and overhangs. (Weekly)
- Wash the exterior & interior windows of any vacant units. (Monthly)
- Broom sweep/blow interior of vacant units. (Monthly)
- Replace air fresheners in vacant units. (Monthly)
- Empty any ashtrays in the Common Area. (Daily)
- Replace sand/rocks in all ashtrays. (as Needed)
- Clean off all gum from the sidewalk. (Daily)
- Place any bulk trash in the Landlord provided dumpster. (as Needed)
- Report all abandoned cars and lighting issues to the Property Manager
Requirements:
- Prior experience in janitorial, day porter, commercial cleaning or handyman preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during a shift
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact courteously with building occupants

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
